Lymphatic massage uses light, gentle pressure to stimulate the lymphatic system, ease inflammation, and support the body's natural detox. Because the lymphatic capillaries sit just beneath the skin and move at a slow, steady rhythm, a light touch is what moves lymph fluid most effectively. This gentle, relaxing work can calm the nervous system, ease stress, encourage healthy circulation, support tissue regeneration, and strengthen immune function — wonderful for everyday well-being. It can also be a deeply supportive practice through emotionally difficult seasons — after trauma, pregnancy loss, or during postpartum recovery and postpartum depression, offering a calm, nurturing space to simply be held and cared for. For clients whose bodies are physically recovering from surgery and need a more specialized, delicate touch, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is the better fit — see that page for details.
